Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani has reopened its doors after being shuttered due to the pandemic since late March 2020.
The 284-room resort has resumed bakery operations at its Halekulani Bakery & Restaurant. The venue is currently serving breads, pastries, sandwiches and coffee and tea for breakfast as well as takeout for lunch.
The hotel's full-service restaurant is scheduled to reopen at a later date.
Halepuna Waikiki, which made its debut in October 2019, is a sister property to Waikiki's 453-room Halekulani, which also temporarily closed in March 2020. The Halekulani is undergoing renovations and has announced plans to reopen on Oct. 1.
