Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco in San Francisco is showing off the results of a three-month, $4 million renovation of all 201 guestrooms and suites.
The property remained open during the floor-by-floor renovation. The new look, overseen by Andrea Dawson Designs, features art nouveau elements, bold graphics and trompe-l’oeil cabinetry as well as much of the property’s original artwork, such as “The Tree of Life” by sculptor Albert Guibara.
Other amenities include an on-site fitness center and spa, more than 7,000 square-feet of meetings and event space and the Grand Cafe Brasserie and Bar, overseen by executive chef Alicia Jenish. Suite rates range from $379 to $439, depending on the season.
