Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Playa Hotels & Resorts are teaming up to expand the Hyatt Ziva all-inclusive brand, announcing plans to open the Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun in Mexico's Riviera Cancun region later this year.
Located between Playa del Carmen and the Cancun Hotel Zone, the 438-room, family-friendly resort will offer several restaurants, multiple swimming pools, a spa with indoor and outdoor treatment rooms and a fitness center as well as more than 15,000 square feet of event and meetings space.

The Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun will build on Playa's existing all-inclusive partnership with Hyatt, which also comprises the adults-only brand Hyatt Zilara.
Playa's Hyatt-branded all-inclusive portfolio currently comprises the Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Cancun, Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos and Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta in Mexico; the Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall in Jamaica; and the Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic.
