Eric Hilton, the former vice chairman of Hilton Hotels Corp.
and the son of company founder Conrad Hilton, died at his home in Las Vegas on
Dec. 10. He was 83.
Hilton was key to Hilton Hotels’ franchise development in
the 1970s and 1980s and served as president of Conrad International from 1994
until his 1997 retirement.
The Korean War veteran helped establish the Conrad N. Hilton
College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston in
1969.
Hilton was youngest of the three children Conrad Hilton had
with first wife, Mary Barron Hilton.
