Red Carnation Hotel Collection is making its debut in Scotland, planning to open a new property in Edinburgh next year.

The hotel will be located at 100 Princes Street, which previously functioned as a headquarters for the Royal Over-Seas League private club between 1929 and 2017. According to Red Carnation, the Edinburgh property will be modeled after its Hotel 41 in London. Red Carnation plans to replicate that 30-room hotel's "boutique atmosphere."

The property, which offers views of Edinburgh Castle, will undergo a facelift prior to opening. Red Carnation plans to carefully restore the building's interiors, "embracing its history and heritage and using the finest local artisans and suppliers."

The Edinburgh hotel will be the 19th property in Red Carnation's portfolio.
