Standard International is ramping up global expansion efforts, unveiling a pipeline of 15 hotels to open under its Standard and Bunkhouse brands.

This follows January's news that the company would open its first Standard hotel outside the U.S. in London later this year. In addition to the London location, Standard hotels are planned for the Maldives; Chicago; Lisbon, Portugal; Paris; Milan, Italy; Jakarta, Indonesia; Mexico City; and Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin and Pattaya, Thailand.

Expansion of Bunkhouse – a brand specializing in in offbeat, boutique-style accommodations -- will include three new hotels in Austin, New Orleans and Atlanta.

Standard International's portfolio includes five Standard hotels in New York, Miami and Los Angeles, and seven Bunkhouse properties throughout Texas, California and Mexico.
