Shane Steffens has been appointed president of EF Ultimate Break, a tour operator that specializes in travel for young adults.

Steffens is a longtime EF executive, beginning his career as a tour consultant for EF Educational Tours, where he was eventually appointed president.
He will report to CEO Heidi Durflinger, who said, "Shane brings 25-plus years of operational knowledge to the role and knows how to scale a business in the travel sector while always putting the customer at the center of everything we do."
Steffens served as EF Educational Tours president for a decade before holding senior leadership roles within other EF-affiliated academic institutions. He was tapped as president of the Hult International Business School Undergraduate Program and also EF Academy, a college preparatory boarding school.
