Tauck is adding two itineraries in 2024 that will feature rail trips aboard Rocky Mountaineer.

The new itineraries continue Tauck's existing partnership with Rocky Mountaineer; the additional journeys will feature a scenic two-day rail component.

The eight-day Salt Lake City to Denver by Rocky Mountaineer starts with two nights at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, where guests will enjoy city sightseeing and visit Park City, a four-season resort area in the heart of the Rockies.

Guests will then move on to Moab for an additional two nights, visiting a number of national and state parks that include Dead Horse Point State Park, Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park. On day five of the itinerary, guests will board the Rocky Mountaineer and make their scenic two-day journey to Denver visiting Glenwood Springs for the evening.

On the 10-day Best of Western Canada & Rocky Mountaineer from Lake Louise to Vancouver, guests will stay at four Fairmont hotels throughout the journey. Adventurous activities include a glacier ride aboard the Ice Explorer on top of the Athabasca Glacier and a panoramic drive along the Icefields Parkway.

On day four of the itinerary, guests will board the Rocky Mountaineer and head to Kamloops, British Columbia for an overnight stay before heading to Vancouver, where they will experience a flightseeing tour from Coal Harbor to Victoria. Guests will have a chance to do some whale-watching on a private cruise with a marine naturalist while in Vancouver.

Departures for the Salt Lake City-Denver itinerary start on May 16, while the Best of Western Canada itinerary kicks off in June and already has limited availability that month with one date sold out.
