NEW YORK -- Three tour operators joined the U.S. Tour Operators Association, bringing the trade organization's membership to 59 companies, representing 146 brand names.

The new members are Boston-based American Council for International Studies, which operates tours for high school students; European Travel Management of Westport, Conn., a Europe and South Pacific FIT and group specialist, and Travel Connection of Portland, Ore., which markets Mexico, California, Arizona and Nevada packages to travel agents in the Pacific Northwest.
