American Express announced several travel-related offers for card members Tuesday.
Platinum Card and Gold Card holders can receive a complimentary night or a hotel credit of $150 for eligible bookings made through American Express Travel at participating Hotel Collection properties. Required booking and travel dates vary by property.
Platinum Card holders can receive a complimentary night or a hotel credit of $250 on eligible bookings at more than 200 Fine Hotels + Resorts properties when booking through American Express Travel. Required booking and travel dates vary by property.
American Express will also offer consumer and business Platinum Card holders lower fares on some flights when booking with American Express Travel. They can save up to 20% off publicly listed tickets on select routes, flights and seats on eligible flights booked from Jan. 10 to March 31, for travel from Jan. 10 through May 31.
Additionally, card holders enrolled in the Membership Rewards program can use Pay With Points on car rental bookings or earn double points on prepaid car rental bookings.
American Express Travel fees on flight changes or new bookings through March 31 will be waived. The agency will also continue to honor supplier policies for changes or cancellations on bookings.
American Express announced the travel benefits amid a bevy of other benefits, including statement credits on purchases made with PayPal and money back after purchases at popular retailers like Best Buy and Home Depot.
