Acquired LoungeBuddy, a digital platform that enables travelers to discover, book and access airport lounges worldwide. Platinum card and Centurion members can easily search and locate lounges that they have access to through the Global Lounge Collection benefit using the Lounge Finder tool in Amex mobile app. Additionally, they have access to the Centurion Lounge mobile check-in feature within the Amex mobile app. That enables them to begin the check-in process to any Centurion Lounge 30 minutes before their expected arrival.
Acquired Resy, the digital restaurant reservation booking and management platform. Integrated Resy's restaurant inventory into a new restaurant reservation tool within the U.S. Amex mobile app. Platinum card members can search, book and manage reservations with more than 10,000 restaurants across the American Express Global Dining Collection and the newly acquired Resy platform as well as partners BookaTable and SevenRooms directly from the Amex mobile app. Platinum card and Centurion members can also secure these restaurant reservations by calling or chatting with their Platinum or Centurion concierge.
