Sabre gave an update on second-quarter bookings in a regulatory filing, saying there are “modest initial signs of recovery.”

However, gross bookings are down approximately 90% -- not much change from the tail end of the first quarter.

“The environment remains uncertain, with reductions in airline capacity and a volatile macro environment,” Sabre said.

Net air bookings in April and May were negative because cancellations exceeded new bookings.

The company reported a net loss of $151 million in the first quarter.
