SAN DIEGO -- The Simple Navigation Air Program (SNAP), Travel Leaders Network's (TLN) point-and-click air booking platform, will be receiving new upgrades, including chat support functionality, a "Booking Buddy" feature and a trip proposal function.

The trip proposal tool, announced at the network's EDGE conference here, allows TLN members to share customized proposals with clients that could include multiple hotel options, room types and rental car selections, and can be revisited at a later date if the advisors need to re-shop or validate pricing.

Service fees can also be added directly to the proposal. Additionally, members can refine results for round-trip and multi-city flights as well as filter by cabin type or specific legs of the journey.

Since launching in March 2024, SNAP has been used to sell 50,000 tickets and has seen a 400% growth in adoption.

The new Booking Buddy feature, also announced at the conference, will provide additional support; TLN members can make an appointment with a TLN SNAP team member, who will walk the advisor through the booking process from start to finish.

March 2026 marked the highest month of air sales in the network's history.

Jackie Friedman, president of Nexion, a TLN affiliate, says the host agency has spent years convincing advisors to sell more air. More than a decade ago, Nexion launched its own air program, also called SNAP (Simple Nexion Air Program), which has since been absorbed into Internova's program, all under one platform.

"You talk to travel advisors who have been around for a long time, and you never thought about not selling air -- everyone did it," said Friedman, who estimates that fewer than 10% of Nexion advisors currently use a traditional GDS. "A lot of advisors are shying away from selling air, and that's a big mistake; you should be a full resource for your clients."
