The first Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival at Baha Mar is set for Oct. 21 to 23 and will be headlined by internationally celebrated chefs.

Guests include celebrity chefs Marcus Samuelsson and Daniel Boulud, Italian butcher Dario Cecchini and Simeon Hall Jr., a Bahamian culinary artisan, chef and event curator.

Activities will include interactive cooking demos, artisan exhibits and a grand dine-around showcasing a taste of more than 45 restaurants, bars and cafe in the Bahamas and at Baha Mar.

The festival will conclude with an alfresco dining experience on Long Cay, Baha Mar's private island hideaway.

Tickets for the event are on sale and range from $79 to $499.

"We envision this festival becoming the leading celebration of food and art in the region, providing locals and visitors with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the island's rich culture and gastronomic offerings," said Graeme Davis, president of Baha Mar.
