St. Maarten will be getting its first Leading Hotels of the World property when the Vie L'Ven Resort & Residences opens for the 2027-28 high season. Overlooking Indigo Bay on the island's southern coast, the resort will feature 280 residences ranging from one to four bedrooms.

The property will also be the first Caribbean property to include a restaurant from renowned chef Alain Ducasse, holder of 21 Michelin stars.

A wide array of amenities

The luxury residences will span 620 to more than 2,000 square feet. Owners and guests will have access to a beach club with reserved cabanas and butler service, a Les Clefs d'Or concierge team, three pools, pickleball, tennis courts, on-beach water sports, a children's playroom, and a nature reserve. The property will also have one of the largest destination spas in the Caribbean, with more than 30,000 square feet.

Besides the Ducasse restaurant, Vie L'Ven will be home to two additional dining experiences.
