Silversea Cruises unveiled the first look of the Silver Moon's interior spaces, including its first venues as part of its new culinary program, Sea and Land Taste, or SALT.
The Moon debuts three venues designed for the SALT program in a "hub of culinary discovery" on Deck 4: the SALT Kitchen, one of the ships' eight restaurants, where its regional menu will change with the destination; the SALT Lab, a test kitchen offering workshops, tastings, and demonstrations; and the SALT Bar, focused on regional wines, spirits, and other drinks.

In a YouTube tour of the spaces, Silversea's chief marketing officer Barbara Muckermann said that the venues make the Silver Moon "an absolutely unique ship in our fleet."
Silversea took delivery of the 596-passenger Silver Moon on Oct. 30 from Italian shipyard, Fincantieri. It is the luxe line's ninth vessel and second in the Muse class of ships.
Muckermann hosted five virtual tours of the ship, including its other public spaces, restaurants, and suites available on its YouTube channel.
The Moon is the second ship Silversea has taken delivery of this year: In June, the line took delivery of the Silver Origin from Dutch shipyard De Hoop, an expedition ship purpose built for the Galapagos.
Silversea has two more ships on order from German shipbuilder Meyer Werft, with the first expected for delivery in 2022. The last of the Muse class, the Silver Dawn, is scheduled for delivery from Fincantieri in 2021. The Silver Muse entered service in April 2017.
