Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel undergoing renovation, rebranding

|

Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel on the Island of Hawaii has begun a $46 million renovation that is expected to be completed in March.

The resort will be rebranded the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort and feature new amenities, experiences and style. The property remains under the ownership and management of Prince Resorts Hawaii.

The changes include a new adults-only pool, a redesigned lobby with a vertical garden and interactive check-in stations, a new Crossfit Studio and four new dining options. The 232 rooms and 17 suites are also being redesigned with Westin brand furniture and fixtures.

Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel opened on the Kohala Coast in 1994 as the second phase of Laurence S. Rockefeller's Mauna Kea development.
