The fifth annual Kauai Chocolate and Coffee Festival will celebrate sweet treats and caffeinated beverages in Historic Hanapepe Town Oct. 18-19.

The event offers educational displays and workshops, entertainment and exhibitor booths featuring a variety of chocolate and coffee products from around the state, and plenty of samples for chocoholics and coffee connoisseurs. There will also be live entertainment, a silent auction, and kids' activities.

The festival's mission is to highlight coffee and chocolate of the Garden Isle and the rest of the Hawaiian islands, in addition to supporting farmers, growers, chefs, roasters, chocolatiers and manufacturers of the Aloha State.
