As general manager, Mestraud will oversee the day-to-day operations at the western Oahu property, including the 370 guestrooms and suites, Naupaka Spa & Wellness Center and five restaurants and lounges. He will also serve as Four Seasons vice president of residential operations for the Americas, overseeing 10 private residential portfolios.

"As we embark on this new era, the resort's unparalleled service, genuine warmth of the tea, and authentic experiences that capture a deep sense of place will guide our storytelling and further elevate the already tranquil ambience here on Oahu," Mestraud said in a statement.

Prior to Costa Rica, Mestraud, a native of France, held the position of general manager at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole in Wyoming; resort manager of the Four Seasons Resort Biltmore Santa Barbara, in California; and resort manager at the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora.
