Prince Waikiki has appointed Joshua Hargrove as general manager, parent company Prince Resorts Hawaii announced.
Hargrove will manage and oversee all aspects of the 563-room hotel located in Honolulu near the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor.
"We are delighted to welcome Joshua to the Prince Waikiki family," Kisan Jo, president of Prince Resorts Hawaii, said in a statement. "With his charisma, love of Hawaii and extensive hospitality background at notable properties throughout the Islands, he is a natural fit to lead the Prince Waikiki team."
Hargrove brings more than a decade of hospitality experience to the Prince Waikiki, most recently serving as hotel manager at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas in Lahaina. He has also held positions at the Modern Honolulu; the Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort; and the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa in Kona.
"With the recent reimagination of Prince Waikiki and all of the exciting activity happening at the nearby Ala Moana Center and the hip Kakaaako neighborhood, there's no better time to visit Honolulu, and we are in the heart of it all," Hargrove said. "I look forward to leading the incredible team at Prince Waikiki and continuing to provide memorable guest experiences that celebrate the destination and encourage guests to come back and stay with us for years to come."
