Within walking distance from the Ala Moana Shopping Center, the 39-story Renaissance Honoflulu Hotel & Spa opened Feb. 28 just outside of Waikiki. It's Honolulu's first newbuild hotel in two decades, and it's the brand's first location on Oahu.

"With a strong commitment to transformative wellness, engaging art and culture and masterful culinary programs, Renaissance Honolulu will ensure every stay is a journey into the rich tapestry of Hawaii."

The hotel offers spacious guestrooms and residences equipped with kitchens, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and ocean views. On-property dining spaces include Mara, which serves Mediterranean cuisine of family-style tapas, grilled meats and fresh seafood. The private Coral Club Lounge, on the 15th floor, serves meals and cocktails. The pool deck and bar and grill offer outdoor dining.
The eight floor is dedicated the wellness amenities, including a full-service spa and yoga studio. And the Sky Deck features a 25-meter lap pool, two hot tubs and a saltwater swimming pool.
Rates start at $332 per night.
