Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is augmenting its retail offerings, welcoming new shops and announcing more to come.

Happy Wahine, a Hawaiian-owned and operated brand that features unique handbags with modern tropical designs, is scheduled to open in the Rainbow Bazaar in October. DFS, known for duty free airport shops, is opening a 2,000-square-foot store in December that will offer both duty-free shopping for international travelers and shopping for noninternational visitors.

Aloha Bella, a Hawaiian clothing company that sells a range of women's attire and accessories, including casual and beach apparel, joined the property in March. In June, Hilton Hawaiian Village opened its first shop dedicated to retail items with the property's logo. The shop is dubbed Anuenue, "rainbow," in recognition of the property's well-known Rainbow Mural that is also found on much of the memorabilia sold at the store.

The Kapahikau Gallery, which specializes in Hawaiian woodworking including bowls, vases, and poi pounders, opened in August. In December 2016, the resort also welcomed the furniture store SoHa Living.

Martin & MacArthur, a Hawaiian furniture and koa wood accessory maker, will close at the end of September in preparation for a move to a new space within the shopping center. It is scheduled to reopen in December.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village, a 22-acre oceanfront property, features more than 90 shops and services.
