Southwest Airlines has launched more routes in its growing Hawaii network.
On Jan. 19 the airline completed its first flight from Honolulu to Hilo on the Island of Hawaii. Additionally, daily services between Kona, also on Hawaii Island, and Maui's Kahului Airport were inaugurated. New routes also connect Kona and Kauai's Lihue airport with both San Jose and Oakland.
The new routes mark continued expansion into the Hawaii market for the Dallas-based carrier, which first launched Hawaii service in March 2019.
