A new cocktail lounge opened this year on the top floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki. The music lounge is part of the Royal Hawaiian Theater, which hosts the popular Rock-A-Hula music and dance concert with singers, musicians, hula and fire-knife dancers.

Tickets to Rock-A-Hula aren't necessary to get access to the lounge, but guests will need to purchase a cocktail music lounge package for $15. It provides entry and includes one premium beverage and dry snacks. A $49 VIP ticket gives an additional premium beverage, pupu (appetizers) platter and a VIP seat. These can be purchased ahead of time online or at the door.

The night consists of musicians playing a variety of music that can include Hawaiian, jazz and pop. Patrons are also welcomed to request songs. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., and the show lasts until midnight.
