Starting on Feb. 6, Kenya Airways will add flights on its Nairobi-Seychelles route, bringing the service to daily. The additional flights will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Seychelles Tourism Board CEO Sherin Francis said: "The [daily] direct flights would definitely make Seychelles more accessible to a few of our important markets, such as the North American market."

Kenya Airways launched a direct nonstop flight between New York and Nairobi last October, and the additional flights to the Seychelles will create more opportunity and capacity for travelers from the U.S. to visit the islands, connecting via Nairobi.
