Situated in the 40,000-acre Mugie Conservancy, Mugie House will feature nine individual stone cottages situated on a hill overlooking Kenya's Laikipia landscape. The large main house with open log fires will host travelers for cocktails and meals. The shaded areas around the infinity pool offer the possibility for casual alfresco dining area, while a large water hole set in front of Mugie House attracts a variety of wildlife, with a hide that offers the possibility of some close encounters.
Mugie Conservancy is at the forefront of conservation, operating as a low-impact cattle ranch alongside preserving the delicate and productive ecosystems that host abundant wildlife. Mugie supports cheetah and wild dog research with the Cheetah and Wild Dog Project as well as lion research through collaring and monitoring with Lion Landscapes.
Activities available include day and night game drives; guided bush walks; ranching and farming; and golfing.
