Air Canada will begin flying a seasonal route to San Antonio in May, the first-ever nonstop service between Canada and the Texas city.
The route will operate three times a week between Toronto and San Antonio beginning on May 1 and will continue until Oct. 23.
Air Canada will also add daily flights next summer connecting Montreal with Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio. The airline will be the only carrier serving either of those routes, Cirium flight schedule data shows. Both routes will operate from May 1 to Oct. 24.
Tickets for all three routes are on sale.
Air Canada expects to increase transborder capacity 15% next summer, which will bring it back to the summer 2024 level. Air Canada scaled back U.S. service this summer when President Trump's tariffs, combined with comments the president made about Canada, depressed demand.
