Royal Air Maroc officially will join the Oneworld alliance
on April 1.
After 15 months of integration work since the initial
announcement, the carrier and alliance will begin offering reciprocal benefits
such as loyalty programs and lounge access. Royal Air Maroc currently
codeshares with five Oneworld members, including American Airlines, and will
add more partnerships in the coming months, according to the alliance.
The carrier will be the first full new member to join Oneworld
since 2014 and is the alliance's first member on the African continent.
