Southwest has begun offering
free movies through its in-flight entertainment portal.
The switch from paid movie
content to free movies has begun to roll out across the Southwest WiFI-enabled
fleet, and is expected to be available to the majority of
customers by the end of the week.
Southwest customers can
access the onboard entertainment portal via their smartphones, tablets or laptops.
It is not necessary to purchase WiFi to take advantage of the free movies.
