United, Chase Card Services and Visa have extended their agreement on MileagePlus co-branded credit cards through 2029.

The companies currently partner on five branded cards; the new United Business Card, the United Explorer Card, the United Club Card, the United Club Business Card and the United TravelBank Card. Their previous deal had been set to expire in 2025.

In an SEC filing, United estimated that the deal would increase revenue by $400 million this year. The extra revenue will come from anticipated growth in the carrier’s credit card portfolio; amended terms of the deal; and the carrier’s participation in the Chase Ultimate Rewards program, it said.

United is already a participant Ultimate Rewards, under which holders of Chase cards that aren’t co-branded, can transfer the points they accrue to airlines and other travel brands.
