United Airlines pilots have ratified a new labor contract.

Pilots approved the new contract with 82% voting in favor, the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) announced. Ninety-seven percent of eligible pilot participated in the vote.

The vote finalizes the tentative agreement that United management and ALPA reached in July.

United pilots will receive 34.5% to 40.2% pay rate increases over the four-year lifespan of the contract, as well as benefit increases and work rule improvements.

ALPA said the contract adds more than $10 billion in value for United pilots compared to the previous contract.
