Loews Hotels & Co. has appointed Alex Tisch to the role of president.
Tisch,
who most recently served as the group's executive vice president of
commercial and business development, will be the first to assume the
role of president since Kirk Kinsell departed the company in October
2016.

In the role, Tisch will oversee operations, develop and
execute on company strategy and manage capital and resource allocations,
working closely with Loews Hotels & Co. chairman and CEO Jonathan
Tisch and the rest of the Loews executive leadership team. He will also
continue to lead the group's commercial, acquisitions and development
unit, as well as the Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando Resort teams.
Loews Hotels & Co. owns or operates 26 hotels and resorts across the U.S. and Canada.
Tisch,
who joined Loews Hotels & Co. in mid-2017, is Jonathan Tisch's
first cousin once removed and represents the fourth generation of the
Tisch family business.
He previously served as vice president
for Loews Hotels' parent company Loews Corp., and prior to that, he
worked at financial services group Credit Suisse, arranging leveraged
buyout financings and handling M&A advisories.
