The Cas en Bas Beach Resort, a new resort coming to the the northern end of St. Lucia, will open as Hyatt's first Destination by Hyatt property in the Caribbean. It is expected to open late this year.
The 90-room resort will offer a mix of studio, 1-bedroom and two-bedroom residential-style accommodations, each featuring open-plan living areas, kitchenettes and private balconies or terraces.
The resort will have a restaurant, a sports pub, a rooftop bar, a café and poolside and beach clubs.
Guests will also have access to an Olympic-sized pool, a retail market and a fitness center and spa, as well as house cars that will be available for off-property excursions to nearby beaches and other local attractions.
Destination by Hyatt currently has some 20 properties in the U.S., Canada, Italy, Spain and the U.K.
