Hyatt said the Confidante Miami Beach, slated to reopen as an Andaz-branded hotel in this year's fourth quarter, will temporarily close on March 25.

The company said the hotel will remain closed through the conclusion of the hotel's renovation and rebranding as the Andaz Miami Beach. Andaz is Hyatt's luxury lifestyle brand.

Following a top-to-bottom transformation, the hotel will "offer a first-of-its-kind oceanview check-in experience in Miami Beach," Hyatt said.

Jose Andres Group will operate two restaurants and a cocktail bar at the Andaz.

The property will offer 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, from ballrooms with ocean views to a swimming pool area that converts to a hard surface for gatherings within minutes.
