The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino has opened reservations for The Westerly, a 161-room resort within a resort. The Westerly opens Jan. 5, but only a portion of guestrooms will be ready.
The Westerly will offer a private check-in area, its own concierge service, priority spa reservations and premium lounging space on the beach. Westerly guests also will have access to amenities at the Hilton Aruba.
The Westerly will also feature oversized guestrooms and suites, including some adults-only swim-up options and accommodations with oceanfront balconies. Other perks: a Best Rest Bar stocked with sleep masks, earplugs and pillow sprays; yoga kits; and the Personalized Pantry, featuring a selection of premium local snacks and beverages.
Atop the tower's 10th floor will be Terrace on 10, an adults-only rooftop space with cabanas and live entertainment.
Terrace on 10 will serve locally inspired fare and craft cocktails, and it will also be a venue for wellness programming like Pilates and guided breathwork.
The Westerly is positioned as "an intimate, high-end retreat that's both private and welcoming," said Jerome Luciani, general manager of the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino.

The Hilton Aruba, which originally opened as the Aruba Caribbean Hotel in 1959, has 358 guestrooms and suites. The resort features eight dining venues, the Eforea Spa, three rooftop spaces, 60,000 square feet of event space and a casino with a poker room.
Earlier this year, the property completed renovations of all guestrooms and its Sunset Grille restaurant, Sunset Bar and Eforea Spa and fitness center. The Shore Club, a new beachside restaurant and event space, is under development.
Correction: The Westerly will partially open on Jan. 5.
