Hyatt Hotels plans to open four hotels in Pakistan by 2023, as the hotel company
looks to take advantage of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor trade agreement
that was signed last year.
The Hyatt Regency Lahore is scheduled to open
in 2021, and the Hyatt
Regency Rawalpindi is slated to open the following year.
The Grand Hyatt Islamabad and
Hyatt Regency Karachi are scheduled to open in 2023. All four hotels will be developed
by Bahria Town.
The Grand Hyatt, about a half-hour drive from Islamabad's city
center, will feature a golf resort.
