The former Sheraton Old San Juan has undergone a multimillion-dollar revamp, relaunching as the Hotel Rumbao. It is a member of the Tribute Portfolio, the Marriott-owned collection of independent boutique hotels.

The 245-room property is located in Old San Juan's historic district, in close proximity to the Old San Juan Port.

The hotel's culinary programming is anchored by Kueros Island Bar & Kitchen, billed as a destination restaurant showcasing locally inspired cuisine and culture. As part of the dining concept, meals are accompanied by traditional dance performances and other entertainment.

The property is also home to the Rumbao Market Lobby Café and Lounge.

The Hotel Rumbao is the sole Puerto Rico hotel in the Tribute Portfolio, which currently has 100-plus hotels.
