Adam Cooper
Youth travel specialist Contiki has named Adam Cooper to
serve as president of Contiki USA.
Cooper hails from student travel agency STA Travel, where
most recently he served as senior vice president, North America. He now reports
to Contiki's global CEO Casper Urhammer.
In his new role, Cooper aims to continue to strengthen
Contiki's position with its target demographic and support travel professionals
who book the tour operator.
Cooper takes on his new role amid executive changes
at Contiki's parent company, The Travel Corporation. Contiki's former presdent,
Melissa da Silva, became president of Trafalgar and Brendan Vacations in June
after Paul Wiseman announced his departure.
Da Silva had led Contiki for the past four years.
