After noticing a 38% uptick over the last five years in guests voyaging alone, Intrepid Travel has introduced three trips just for solo travelers.

Intrepid says that more than half of the company's passengers travel solo. Consequently, three of the company's most popular itineraries now have departures exclusively for travelers going it alone.

As on regular Intrepid trips, solo travelers will have the option to be paired with a travel companion to avoid a single supplement or they can purchase a single supplement if they want their own room. The cost of the single supplement varies depending on the destination and trip duration.

The solo-only trips are the 15-day "Classic Rajasthan" from $1,310 per person, departing March 19; the 10-day "South Morocco Discovery" from $900 per person, departing March 18; and the nine-day "Cafe Colombia" from $1,890 per person, departing March 11. Prices don't include air. Some meals are included.
