The National Tour Association has decided to move this year’s
Travel Exchange online.
“Instead of gathering this November in Reno, Nevada, we’re
going to get together on our laptops, desktops, and mobile devices,” NTA president
Catherine Prather said in announcing the change. “This online event will
deliver a combination of one-on-one and small group appointments plus seminars
and sessions with real solutions for recovery.”
The virtual Travel Exchange, dubbed vTREX, will take place
Nov. 17 to 19, hosted by Prather and NTA chair Jim Warren.
Members will still be able to arrange one-on-one
appointments and participate in “sale mission” and “best pitch” meetings
virtually.
The group also plans plenary sessions and panel discussions
with industry experts.
“Throughout the Covid shutdown, NTA has found tremendous
success with online meetings that bring together members from like companies as
well as sessions that allow members from all types of organizations to get
answers,” Warren said. “And vTREX will be an expansion of those meetings and
webinars plus many of the same opportunities for product development that
brings NTA members to Travel Exchange every year.
“All we’re missing are the hugs and handshakes.”
