J.MAK Hospitality founder Jon Makhmaltchi is hitting the road again, this time visiting travel advisors and hotel partners in a 2025 Winnebago Solis Pocket outfitted as a mobile office.

The company is a sales representative for luxury hotels and villas, and Makhmaltchi has done this type of road show before, in 2020 when he visited advisors in their driveways in his custom Winnebago during the pandemic.

Makhmaltchi calls his Winnebago the MINI.MAK, and it is outfitted with a seating area, desk space, WiFi and a bathroom. He has already made stops to visit advisors in New York's Westchester County and Connecticut as well as at partner hotels Troutbeck in Amenia, N.Y.; Belden House & Mews in Litchfield, Conn.; and Prospect Berkshires in Egremont, Mass.

Makhmaltchi said he believes relationships are the basis of the industry, and he enjoys doing something "fun and different" to connect with advisors and lodging partners.

Upcoming stops include the Newbury Boston; Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, Mass.; Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown, Mass.; and the Lake House on Canandaigua in Canandaigua, N.Y.
