When Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor in Spain reopens for the season on March 18 it will be sporting a new spa and a series of private experiences.

The resort, located in the northern part of Mallorca, has sea views from all angles and uses that backdrop as a means to wow its guests. New private options include a sunset dinner among the vineyards, a gourmet picnic in a secluded garden spot, open-air cinema screenings at night, and dinners in private seaside cabanas.

The new spa, meanwhile, is leaning heavily on world-known brands for its product offerings, such as Biologique Recherche, Sepai, Seaskin for Life, and Gaia Natural Product. New treatments have been planned around the products, including the seven-step Skin Journey with Biologique Recherche. Plans are to introduce new treatments monthly based around seasonal changes that typically prompt changes in the skin.

Launched last year, the spa also has a hydrotherapy and thermotherapy circuit program that includes a steam bath and dry sauna to purify and relax, a cold-water pool to revitalize and stimulate the immune system, sensory showers, and a pool with hydromassage jets to release muscle tension.

The resort also has a hiking program and a cycling program.

Good to know: Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor last year secured its LEED Gold Certification based on its sustainability efforts.
