Minor Hotels has opened a five-star hotel in Italy, the Tivoli President Milano. The property was carved out of the former NH Collection Milano President hotel in on Largo Augusto in the San Babila district, a five-minute walk from the Duomo, a 600-year-old Gothic cathedral in the center of the city.

The iconic location makes perfect sense for a luxury upgrade; the hotel sits at the edge of the Quadrilatero della Moda, between Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga. Its central location provides immediate access to Milan’s key cultural and commercial landmarks, including Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Teatro alla Scala, as well as the city’s design and fashion institutions.
A Presidential Suite with a view
Tivoli President Milano has 239 rooms, including 60 suites, six with direct views of the Duomo. The hotel’s most exclusive accommodation is the 1,600-square-foot Presidential Suite, which has a connecting panoramic rooftop overlooking the Duomo.
A wellness area is scheduled to open soon in partnership with Starpool; it will have Zerobody Dry Float beds, a wet area, and a treatment room. Note: The Technogym fitness center is already open.

In the coming months, Tivoli President Milano will unveil a new first-floor gastronomic restaurant overlooking Largo Augusto, with views of the Duomo.
Tivoli President Milano aims to position itself as a sophisticated gathering place for Milan’s urban community with various programming that includes music-accompanied aperitifs held three evenings per week from 6:30 pm at the Lobby Bar. The buffet breakfast will also be available to external guests, and a curated social calendar will include a variety of programs during the week, morning, noon and night.
Expansion in Italy
Tivoli President Milano is Tivoli’s third property in Italy, following the openings of Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Wellness Resort & Spa in 2023 and Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi in Florence in 2024, as well as the newly announced Tivoli Palazzo 1880 Lecce, set to open this year.
Tivoli’s current portfolio comprises nearly 20 properties in Portugal, Brazil, Qatar, China, The Netherlands, Italy and Spain, with future properties in Europe and the Middle East.
