2015 Developments

Introduced two mobile apps, one for consumers and one for travel agents. Agents can now book a trip, send an invoice and pull up client information, even without an internet connection. Clients can access personalized travel information, book shore excursions, purchase insurance and more from their apps.

Expanded triggered email campaigns, a marketing program that uses dynamic technology data to push out a series of emails through the life cycle of a consumer's booking. This year added a Book Onboard triggered email that uses the built-in logic based on the customer's purchase history. More than 97% of agents use the tool.

Added Smart Select, which enables agents to automatically identify clients within their databases based on predetermined data for a specific marketing campaign that will maximize efficiency and make the best use of each agent's marketing dollars based on consumer purchase habits.

Introduced dynamic packaging through a relationship with preferred partners.

Introduced Cruise Planners-branded Trade Show Kit, enabling agents to offer branded items such as signs, a tablecloth, balloons.

Created Custom Cartoon Doodle promotional video, which agents can customize and use to market themselves. The video targets consumers and talks about the benefits of booking with a Cruise Planners agent.

Introduced wedding certification: A training program so agents can specialize in destination weddings and honeymoons.
