Kona Brewing Co. has opened its first self-branded taproom at the Hilton Waikoloa Village on Hawaii Island.

Kona Taproom offers 16 beers on tap, including some exclusive to Hawaii brews, and creative cocktails like the Paddleboard Mojito, mixing Kona's Longboard Lager with rum, mint and a house-made mix.

The tap room features an open-air patio and will host live music and karaoke. In addition to beers, cocktails and wine, visitors can also sample Hawaiian-inspired dishes from the menu, including lobster mac 'n' cheese and poke.

"As a beloved brewery on Hawaii Island, we wanted to bring Kona Brewing Co. straight to our guests and couple it with local food, live entertainment and aloha spirit," David Givens, general manager of Hilton Waikoloa Village, said in a release.
