The rapper Pitbull, who entered into a marketing deal with Visit Florida late last summer, produced what is perhaps the most tangible product of that arrangement with the release of his "Sexy Beaches" video earlier this month.
Filmed exclusively on Florida beaches, the video from the 2014 track is a racy invite to the Sunshine State, featuring bikini-clad models and provocative lyrics. In the chorus, Pitbull calls out, "Sexy beaches, hotels," as the camera rolls over Florida locales.
In conjunction with the video, Visit Florida now has a prominent link on its homepage titled, "Pitbull's Sexy Beaches Finder." Visitors who click on it will find a menu of prominent beaches and beach communities in the state.
