Discount carrier Avelo will fly beyond the continental U.S. starting Nov. 15 with twice-weekly service from New Haven, Conn., to San Juan.
The service will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a Boeing 737NG.
Tweed New Haven Airport is located approximately 80 miles from Manhattan. The route will be the first connecting southern Connecticut with Puerto Rico.
