Southwest will launch service to Myrtle Beach, S.C., on May 23.
The South Carolina beach destination will be the ninth new airport Southwest brings into its network in 2021 as the carrier pursues a strategy of replacing some of the frequencies it offered before the pandemic on dense, business-centric routes with new, leisure-oriented offerings.
