The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport celebrated its grand opening on Sept. 9, bringing more than 1,000 guestrooms, multiple restaurants and bars, a full-service spa and an array of event spaces to the city's waterfront.

Across the street from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, the Omni offers 1,054 guestrooms (including 52 suites) across two, 22-story towers. The Patron Tower presents rooms with spacious elegance, offering rich colors and furnishings with clean lines. The Artist Tower invites guests to ease into their stay with rooms inspired by the creative design of an artist's loft.

The most luxurious accommodation is the 2,000-square-foot Presidential Suite, located on the 22nd floor of the Patron Tower. The two-bedroom suite offers a 180-degree view, pool table and lounge area, private office space, two fireplaces, and a private screening room.

The lobby is designed to invoke the feeling of a museum gallery and features a platform stage designed for live music and performances inspired by the steps outside of Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art. The lobby also houses a curated collection of contemporary works of art, featuring paintings, sculptures, murals and other media from Boston talent.

The Omni Boston has seven food-and-beverage outlets, including Kestra, offering all-day dining with a Mediterranean-American menu. The Sporting Club features small and shareable plates and "cocktails with a whimsical twist." Lifted Pool Bar is an open-air establishment adjacent to the outdoor pool on the fifth floor. Legato Grab and Go Market is a coffee shop also selling breakfast and lunch items.

The hotel has partnered with Boston-based COJE Management Group on Coquette, a French brasserie inspired by the cuisine of the French and Spanish Mediterranean coast, and Cocorico, a café and wine bar.

Breve Spa has a menu of body massages, facials, blow-outs, nail services and makeup application. The 24-hour fitness center has 200 feet of continuous floor-to-ceiling windows.

Included in the hotel's 100,000 square feet of event space is the 3,000-square-foot Elevate Balcony offering westward views of the Boston skyline.

Boasting views of Boston Harbor, the hotel is a joint venture between Omni Hotels & Resorts and New Boston Hospitality, a group of Boston-based real estate firms and investors.

The Omni Boston is the first project developed under the "Massport Model," a set of standards for public-private development projects with a focus on integrating diversity and inclusion into every facet of the process. The building architecture and design were conducted by Boston-based Elkus Manfredi Architects; Waldrop + Nichols, a Texas-based woman and minority-owned interior-design firm; and Moody Nolan and Stull and Lee, two minority-owned, architectural design firms based in Boston.
