Insight Vacations in 2025 will launch small-group tours for women that are created and led by women.
The tour operator is introducing 11 itineraries across Europe, the Americas, India and Africa that will welcome solo travelers. Tours will spotlight women while supporting local traditions and businesses owned by women.
Groups will be limited to a maximum of 24 travelers. Routes, accommodations and restaurants will be handpicked by local women.
"Our women-only tours, thoughtfully crafted by women for women, cater to travelers' unique needs -- be it exploring diverse cultures, conquering fears or forging new friendships," said Melissa DaSilva, president of Insight Vacations, North America.
Itineraries range between eight to 16 days. An eight-day Scenic Scotland tour visits Glasgow, Oban, Inverness and Edinburgh. A 12-day Splendors of Egypt trip includes a Nile cruise and sightseeing of pyramids, tombs and temples. The 16-day Country Roads of Italy covers a vast swath of the country, from the Amalfi Coast in the south to the canals of Venice in the north.
Each tour will feature a Make Travel Matter Experience that will support the United Nations' theme of this year's International Women's Day -- Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress. Examples of these experiences include a baking class at a women's cooperative that empowers women to become professional chefs in Morocco and learning the art of textile production from Quechua women at a weaving class in Peru's Sacred Valley.
Departures begin in March 2025 and prices range between $4,320 and $7,697 per person.
